Keynote speaker
Bring me to your room.
I’m not good enough.I was fourteen when I decided that about myself. Alone in a room, with nothing to check it against and nobody coming. I believed it for twenty-seven years. You have one too, and it has been setting the ceiling over your life ever since. I speak about the sentence you wrote, and how a person takes it back.
A label is a decision made with the information you had at the time.
The teaching
The ceiling was a sentence.
A sentence is a line you wrote about yourself. A sentence is also a verdict you have been serving. Both meanings are true at once, and that is the whole talk.
-
I
You wrote the label
Young, alone, on a day something got taken, with nothing to check it against and nobody coming. You wrote it with what you had.
-
II
It became a life sentence
Every dismissal after that sent your body back to the first one. You relived the label each time, for years.
-
III
The shrinking is the ceiling
Believe you cost too much and you spend your life making yourself cost nothing. You need nothing. You take up as little room as you can.
-
IV
The voice holding you down is your own
That stings and it frees you in the same breath. A label you gave yourself is the only kind you can take back.
-
V
So you become the witness
I learned to be my own witness. Then I went back for the girl who wrote the label in the first place.
One spine, two rooms
Same story, tuned to your people.
The teaching underneath never changes. What comes forward depends on who is sitting in front of me. Tell me about your room and I will build toward it.
Health in frame
Chronic illness & mixed rooms
The flagship build. We sit with the unwitnessed years first, the appointments where your labs looked fine while your body was doing something enormous. Then the talk opens onto the map I use, the Nirmāṇa Arc™, with every safety beat kept and the whole thing held alongside your doctors.
Patient summits, autoimmune and MCAS communities, care teams, integrative health events, retreats.
Health stays out
Business & founder rooms
Same story, different weight. This version names why capable women undercharge and overdeliver for years. There is an old sentence about their worth underneath it, and it has been setting the ceiling the whole time. We take the label back and talk about the room you get to take up next.
Women’s networks, founder conferences, leadership programs, company gatherings, ERG events.
In the room
On stage, with your people.

What I speak about
Talks that start with being believed.
- 01The ceiling was a sentenceYou wrote a label in a hard year, then lived by it for years. You wrote it, so you can take it back.
- 02You are the authority on your own bodyYou have lived in this body every day of your life. They get fifteen minutes. And you don't have to be right to be trustworthy.
- 03Being dismissed, and what it does to a bodyWhat the unwitnessed years cost, and what moves when somebody finally receives it.
- 04What safety feels like in a bodyWhat safety actually reads as inside a body, and what more room in there makes possible.
- 05It was never one thingA dozen things filled the cup a little at a time, so no single lever empties it. That is the reason there is a way through.
- 06Taking up the room you never let yourself haveFor founders and leaders who have been playing small on purpose without knowing it. The expansion talk.
- 07Building for the body the industry overlookedFormulating and founding from inside a sensitive, chronically ill life. Sensory-safe design and real access.
Who I speak to
The rooms I’m made for.
If your people are living in sensitive, stressed, or chronically ill bodies, they are the ones I came for. If your people are capable women running into a ceiling they cannot name, so are they.
Chronic illness & invisible illness communities
I have MCAS and celiac, and my Hashimoto's went quiet. Summits and groups across autoimmune, thyroid, and complex multi-diagnosis life, spoken from inside it.
Business, founder & women’s leadership rooms
Networks and conferences where the room has done the tactics already. This one names what has been holding the ceiling in place.
Clinicians, care teams & health events
Two experts, two domains, one table. What care looks like when the patient's own knowledge is welcome in the room.
Women in midlife & hormonal change
Late thirties through fifties, navigating shifting hormones and a body that keeps changing the rules.
Wellness & integrative-health gatherings
Conferences, retreats, and rooms where the body gets taken seriously.
Retreats & experience-led gatherings
Multi-day spaces where a talk can open into practice, with pacing built for bodies that need it.
Beauty & esthetics professionals
I founded Indiefog Naturals, a skincare line I formulate for the most sensitive skin. For spa teams, estheticians, and indie brands rethinking reactive skin.
Neurodivergent & sensory-sensitive spaces
Accessibility-minded rooms designing for the bodies most events overlook.
Ways to work together

Story-led talks that sit with the room before they teach anything. A pen and paper on every seat, and the room writes one line down.
Workshops & Retreats
Hands-on, sensory-safe sessions built on the Nirmāṇa Arc™, taught regulate-first, paced for the bodies in the room.
Podcast Guest
A warm, generous guest on chronic illness, nervous-system literacy, and founder shows. I give the whole thing away on air.

A clear, steady voice for panels, expert commentary, and editorial features.
Signature keynote
The Whole of You
Nothing about a person happens in one dimension. That includes getting sick, and it includes coming back. A telling that arrives at a map, with a pen and paper on every seat.
One beat in the middle does the most work. Most of us have carried the truth and the verdict as a single weight, so setting the label down feels like admitting the illness was never real. The talk pulls them apart. You keep the truth, and you set the verdict down.
I
Identity
Your body organizes around who it thinks you are. This is where you set the verdict down and leave the truth exactly where it is.
II
Nervous System
Safety and comfort are two different things. What safety actually reads as in a body, and what more room in there makes possible.
III
Mind
The part of you that can learn something new. A body can relearn safety through practice.
IV
Biology
Your physical body. Food, sleep, air, medication, pain, and what your body needs and isn't getting. Offered as lived experience and education, with no outcome attached.
Everything in this talk lives alongside your doctors, your medicine, and your treatment. Never instead of them. Nothing here claims to alter the course of any disease, and no outcome is promised to anyone. Some resolve. Some learn to go quiet. Both are whole.
She became her own witness.
Kikki Avila is a keynote speaker, teacher, and the creator of the Nirmāṇa Arc™, a four-dimension framework for people living with chronic illness. She is also the founder and clinical formulator behind Indiefog Naturals, and a Certified Detoxification Specialist.
She was fourteen when a decision about her life was made without her, and nobody asked her anything. Quiet for days and alone in the bedroom, she wrote four words about what that made her. She believed them for twenty-seven years.
Illness came at twenty-six, and again at thirty-nine. Celiac, then Hashimoto's, then MCAS. Every appointment where her labs looked fine sent her straight back to that bedroom at fourteen, and she relived the trauma over and over again.
Then she found the label sitting underneath the first one.I cost too much to be worth it.Naming it is what let her stop. And what allowed her to take up space.
Now she teaches about identity, labels, trauma, the nervous system, and the ecosystem of the body. She learned how to become a witness for herself, and that is what saved her. Now she gives that map to others, to help them become their own witness and their own authority.
The room I built
Rooted & Well™
A room for people who already get it. Come as the whole person, however many names you have been given, and find somewhere that somebody moves toward you. This is where people get witnessed, and where they learn to become their own witness.
You were always worth the room you take up. So take it.
